the waves on Surfer's Paradise. Perfect. err but there r sharks. heard frm the locals dat some1 got bitten a couple of weeks back. no wonder no one was out surfing.

6times zoom to the top of the sand dune where we had to slide down. wind was blowing at 15-20knots or so. abt 6-7 stories high this sand dune is.

the 1 week i was away...

While Lydia was missing in action in S'pore, this was wad happened to her...
so alrite i was in gold coast for a week. wad happened... 1st n foremost. my flight on qantas was memorable. landed me up in Darwin unexpectedly. well, if i look at the brighter picture, at least i got to land in Darwin & get a cute 'Arrival into Darwin Australia' stamp on my passport. dere after teleporting to Brisbane to get a 'Departure from Brisbane Australia' stamp. haa! groovy.

yup so story as most might already noe... my damn flight got delayed almost a total of 12hrs. an entire nite of waiting, waiting, waiting & waiting. oh well... qantas did try some kinda service recovery by making us wait in Darwin airport's transit lounge for abt 4-5hrs while giving us a free cup of drink n sandwiches while trying to arrange for us to be brought into town to a hotel to hav breakfast while they get the technicians to fix the damn airbus. gdness. such a new plane wif so many problems. wtf man.

so abt 8+am we managed to get our asses outta e airport & waited to clear customs, collect baggage & wait for cab den headed to Novotel Hotel in the city. we were given a rm per couple or family. so made a call back to my sista to inform her of our exciting plane ride which almost gave her a heart attack. *LOL*
so we had breakfast den went up to our rms for another 15mins n had to go back to the airport agn. so we queued & we waited AGAIN to check in our bags & get our new boarding passes.

again, back into the damn transit lounge where we were in the wee hrs of the morning to wait for the plane to be ready. beat dis. we were supposed to be back at Darwin airport by 11am because the plane is expected to take off at 1130. RIGHT........... the queue was never ending la. when everyone finally got into the transit lounge, it was already 12+ coming 1pm. best part is, we werent even gonna take our qantas plane. we were given Australian Air. frm a 2-4-2 seater to a 2-3-2 seater. no business class & no personal screens. u can jus imagine how i survived my 4+hrs journey frm Darwin to Brisbane.

so anyway... as long as they kept me fed i was fine. *LOL* :P so slp n eat the whole way thru lor. bo bianz...

FINALLY! Destination BRISBANE! tears of joy but mostly sadness filled my eyes as the mere thot dat my dearest cuzy will be where i was at dat moment in jus a couple of mths time really made me feel shity. *sigh*
i took the opportunity to take plenty of pics of the airport for her. so again a long n arduous journey to Gold Coast. it was already pitch dark when we reached Brisbane. the ride to GC took an hr+. not dat scenic a drive up. so dark. =(
so finally our hotel. gdness gracious me. jus downstairs is Centro Shopping Centre which is pretty cool as it leads to other shops & the beach!!!! Surfer's Paradise! woohoo! nice view la. but din take as much of my breath away as compared to Dreamland in Bali.
but anyway it's a whole diff experience altogether. also, the wind and the sand is lovely. so fine n soft. was complaining to my dad abt the crappy sand back in spore. eeekkss! so rough n coarse. :(

oh well.. so places i visited... Moreton Island, which houses Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort, Movie World, Dream World, Harbor Town Mall, Pacific Fair & mostly buildings in Surfer's Paradise. Went on a Duck tour wif my parents too! pretty ex sia. $32 per adult. but parentals wanna go so go lor...

yup so dat's abt it for my aussie trip. any questions jus tag me.
oh ya. i attempted to call Pris frm Brisbane. Damn calls r so ex sia. 40cents is the minimum to put in n u can only talk for like wad.. 10secs?! gee... so e 1st time i called her i only spoke to her for abt 10secs. haa. the next time smarter abit n had more coins so talk slightly longer... say abt 1min+ rite boobies? :P

new found sport?

ok here goes me again with all my random thots.. so haa! bear wif me eh! ;)

last sunday went 9.30am morn mass wif Grace cuzy, her mum n dad. den ltr on steamboat buffet lunch wif cousin Junior at Coca Taka. *slurps* the tom yum so super super ultra yummy delicious man!

so after lunch, i headed to marine parade CC to hav a game of badminton. improving i say. haha. managed to learn new stuff frm Shu. Pro sia she! so yup i finally get to catch up wif Shu. even tho she was only back for a week. hurry back agn k! dis time i shall prepare my list of stuff for u to help me get! *evil chuckles* ;X
after badminton we slacked ard a while den headed hm den out to hav dinner wif my parentals den came back hm den went wif my sis to send Shu to parkway den i acced my sis for her dinner den headed back hm agn. super eventful sia!
best part is there was a wedding goin on at my void deck! :) n someone is back! heh wad an odd way to bum into each other sia... geezzz :P

den came Mon. hmm...wad did i do on mon?... driving! heh. suck man. jus one week away frm the wheel n dat's it. rusty. tink hor female drivers... *shakes head* no wait. tink hor lydia dis driver hor... *shakes head* cannot make it. heh. test is next fri! WTF! better shape up man. tsktsktsk. so my mon was spent bumming ard.. nthg extremely exciting happened.

den came Tues. no driving today but went out. Greg's bday! jus spent the entire day out. tired but the company was gd all day. oh. suddenly i recall of some ass hole dat pissed me off. but nvm! *sings* peace is all ard me! *deep breaths* forget abt it n him. aint worth it. the pple in my life now r a gazillion times more impt. :)
yup so tues was pretty eventful eventho it rained.

now Wed. today. had driving. *sigh* again. sucked. duno wad's wrong wif me sia. i noe. it's called psycho-motor problem. heh. haii... 9 more days til dooms day!!! damn. wish me luck man guys. seriously a wreck rite now.
